Will it work with my phone?
If your phone has a USB-C port that supports video-out, yes. It plays nice with most modern devices and HDMI displays (heads up: iPhone Air and iPhone 16e don't support HDMI casting, so blame Apple, not us).
What else do I need to buy to make it work?
We supply the Key Cast and the keyring. You'll just need to bring your own HDMI cable to connect it to the TV or monitor.
Will it fit on my keychain?
Yes, and it comes with an integrated keyring. When you're ready to game, a quick dual-side pinch releases it instantly, no need to fish it out of a bag.
Does it require its own battery or charger?
Nope. Key Cast is completely battery-free. It draws a tiny amount of juice directly from your phone's USB-C port, so it's always ready to plug-and-play.
How does it handle controller lag?
Key Cast packs a built-in 2.4GHz chip that directly links your phone and MCON controller. You get a stronger connection, way less latency, and a higher polling rate. Though, most people are totally fine with regular Bluetooth.
